My Apache is running and I am able to access my webpage at /var/www/html/index.html as http://localhost:80/
How to name an URL likes http://home.doris.com, where doris.com is non-registered domain name, and will be used by LAN users only.

You cannot give a LAN IP to a domain name in its DNS zone configuration. Use the LAN IP EX: http://192.168.0.1 or host name and enter this host name in the /etc/hosts of each client computer

You can access webservers on your intranet by using the host name...
For example, if your web server is on a machine called fred, you would use the url http://fred
