A Café is running near to my friend house and my friend took internet connection by him to his room, he got static ip= 192.168.11.125, gateway = 198.168.12.1, mask, DNS etc..from café by which he running internet well in his WinXP partition , but when I given same setting to his Fedora (installed in other partition of same machine ), it is complaining that “No Network connection”, Ping to ip is working BUT ping to gateway, dns is saying “unreachable network” I checked setting for ip, gateway, dns etc are correct for which WIN XP is working fine

Is this a wireless connection? If so, the wireless connection in fedora is not working right. Wireless under linux is much harder to get working than Windows.
