Hi,

I'm running Mandrake 7.2 on a PentiumII 300. Every now and then I get a machine check error (see below) after which the system reboots after a couple of minutes. It also happens constantly in the middle of compiling some package with a lot of source files, making it difficult to compile the rpms. Does anyone know what the error means and more importantly how I can fix/circumvent it?

Thanks a lot,

Amenna

I get the same thing on Windows 2000:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009c (0x00000003, 0x00000000, 0xb2000000, 0x00080a01). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: E:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini011701-01.dmp.
