i would like to unstall ubuntu put on windows xp pro but i can not figure out how i have done days of research and no luck. can someone tell me how to unstall ubuntu and install windows xp pro

If Ubuntu is the only OS on the computer (Windows is not installed now), you can run the WinXP Install disk and use it to remove the Ubuntu partition, then add and format a WinXP partition then install WinXP. You may get warnings about any data currently on the computer being destroyed. If you have read the Important Note below, tell the installer to continue.

IMPORTANT NOTE!: When you remove the existing partition any data currently on the computer will be destroyed! If you have any original files you do not want to lose (documents, pictures, music, videos, etc.) back them up to another medium (DVD, CD, a partition formatted for DOS or Windows) before installing WinXP.
