I've installed both xp & vista in my laptop. Now I want to install a linux OS like ubuntu or debian. already allocated a partition but the prob is, when install ubuntu on top of vista, Ubuntu takes over the boot menu. So, Is there anyway to uninstall ubuntu and recover back the old boot menu of vista with gateways to both xp & vista without reinstall them???

Dunno how many times this has been asked. About a million pages devoted to the few hundred ways to correct this.

What you want to do is look for a how to on make dual boot and boot vista boot loader or bcdedit linux and such search terms.

I try to save everyone by telling them to use a Virtual machine.

Can't tell you have many times I have borked my mbr.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
