Hello,
I have Apache and SSH up and running on my machine. I have a two computer network: Slackware and Win2K. I am unable to view my webserver or connect through ssh on either of the computers. But people on the outside are able to view the webpage and connect via ssh. I have SAMBA configured properly and I'm able to transfer files between the two computers, but I'm not able to see the web server on either one nor can I connect via ssh. I'm lost, any ideas would be appreciated...thank you.

,,,,"people on the ourside are able",,,,,
what kind of firewall or gateway are you using?
maybe your being blocked because your on the inside and the firewall is thinking your internal/proxied ip is a spoofed address.
or
your gateway is sending the http and telnet get request out through the gateway to the outside world and you are using the internal ip of the web server.
samba works prolly because it's not using the http or telnet ports.
try making a hosts file that points the web server name to the internal ip.

I have a linksys router/firewall I have my webserver configured for port 8080 and I have that port opened and pointing to my webserver IP on the router. I tried the hosts file idea, and its still not working :( Any other ideas?? I appreciate you help man.
