Unable to install XP after Fedora 5

I installed Fed. 5 to my labtop, making 25GB vfat partiion(force primary), where i want to install XP, but WINXP cd hanges after giving mess. "probing your hardware ...etc", is it GRUB stopping XP to install ? Linux is working fine. Pls. help

I got the solution. i have SATA hdd, after disabling it from BIOS, i installed winxp and fedora both successfully

I have always installed windows xp first and using this to set up the partitions, when this is complete install linux on the unformatted partition alowing the grub installer to be installed.(xp has to be installed first because xp don't recognize linux) If you are installing xp removing linux just delete all partitions and create another from scratch....allways worked for me....hope this helps.
