unable to configure modem....

i have a p3, 733Mhz machine with 256mb ram,
20 gb hdd..i have 4 partitions of 5 gb each
and have windowsNt on the primary
partition..the next 2 partitions have
data.and on the fourth partition i have
redhat linux 7.3 installed and it works
perfectly fine.I have a MAGICEXPRESS usb
modem, but unable to install it.It doesnt
even recognize the modem in linux..please
let me know how to install the modem and
configure it?

From the x-console, go to system and netconf. You need root for this.
