I'm a beginner user for linux and have always wanted to give it a try and was glad i finally did. I have two problems:
1.) I can't configure the dial-up.--I used pppconfig to set up my connection...only when I "sudo pon provider" it just drops to the next command prompt. I have also tried activating the modem and setting the port , port 0 since I have laptop. Do i need to compile a driver for the modem??? (OSX sytem profiler calls it a MicroDash (v 92) modem...I've heard of drivers available for use @ linuxant.com) If so how can I go about this (simply put if possible)
2.) I would also like to use the airport extreme...iv'e heard of "native airport extreme drivers" but have no idea how to go about getting it to work/installation
