Comment:

I have an ATI AIW 9700 Pro video card running on Fedora Core 3.

I downloaded the new fglrx drivers from ATI that are compatible with Xorg 6.8 and installed them with no problems. I ran fglrxconfig and configured it to output in clone mode (on my CRT and through S-Video to my TV). That all works fine except when I play a movie through MPlayer, the video appears on my CRT properly but the TV ouput shows a navy blue box where the video ouput should be.

A similar problem occured in Windows when my CRT was the primary display and the TV was secondary. Swapping them allowed video output on the TV and a navy blue video output window on the CRT thus solving the problem.

I did some research and I believe that the video is only rendered in the primary display. In FC3, I tried configuring clone mode so the TV was primary, but it didn't seem to work. Does anyone know how to do this? Any leads would be greatly appreciated!
