Comment:

I have win98 and win 2000 installed on my primary drive.

Redhat 7.0 is installed on me secondary drive.
Lilo failed to overwrite MBR and upon first boot
my computer hung with a flashing L.
I corrected this and can now boot from a floppy,
however is very slow.
How can I configure lilo so i may have a triple boot process?

I've done that previously and have detailed the method on my website. The concerned page is at www.geocities.com/quack3.geo/lilo.html

Make sure, however, that a "Virus Protection" setting has not been enabled in the BIOS, as this will prevent LILO from installing correctly onto the MBR.

Good Luck

I am new to linux and have basically the same problem as Nyxos. Instead I have Win ME and Win 98 which i boot them from the System commander 2000.I have installed Redhat 7.0 but the LiLo will not load and hang with a flashing L when I chose the Linux option from the system commander. Can anyone advice me what to do?

ME actually takes some of the DOS out of your system.
I don't have ME, but I've been told more than one disk comes with it and the 2nd or 3rd disk has the DOS it removed to reinstall.
You must have this DOS to make linux work.
