I have a tracking ball (Marble Mouse by Logitech) and it is not supported on Linux. I am using Red Hat. Does anyone know what I can do to work around this and use this mouse on my machine. Or does anyone know who makes a tracking ball mouse that can be used with Linux.

Any advice is appreciated

Try using IMPS/2 as the protocol for X. Or try looking for it on http://www.linux.com/enhance/hardware/hdb.phtml?Category=Mouse , Marble Mouse should work fine on Linux.
