Hello, a total noob q here but I'll give it a shot. I am setting up Apache to serve a web site from my home PC via dyndns.org. So far I have emerged the apache ebuild, as well as PHP4 (not sure if I really need it but... it's there anyways) When I start apache with /etc/init.d/apache2 start I get the message: apache2: could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, use 127.0.0.1 for ServerName I dug aroun on the inet but there has been no luck, just some (mainly) unanswered email messages in the archives. Help is appreciated on this, so TIA for your time.

This should just be a warning, however if you go into /etc/httpd/ (or /usr/local/etc/httpd or wherever Gentoo places it) and edit the httpd.conf file you can scroll down and change 127.0.0.1 to mysite.dyndns.org (replacing mysite of course and in the domain section aswell).
