I'm an absolutely noob in linux. I have never used linux on my pc before.

What is the best linux distibution for me?

Some distributions don't include, off the self, Acrobat Reader, Flash or Java. Those that do can be a bit easier for someone starting out and include PCLinuxOS and Simply Mepis.

These two distributions are live-cds. They can be run entirely from the cd and do not interfere with you hard drive at all. They can be installed from the cd later if you like them.

There are a lot of other live-cds. Look at Frozentech's LiveCD list at http://www.frozentech.com/content/livecd.php

I recommend you an Ubuntu 6.06 LTS desktop.
