I am new to Linux and i have downloaded some themes for KDE. They are in tar.gz . I read the insatllation instructions and tried installing them under root but they won't work. I am using mandrake 8.1 . I know it's not that hard to do but I can't seem to get it to work. Any help would be great. thanks.
