I have mail server in CentOS.
I get this message in my maillog
"Syntax error in postfic queue file, din't start the C record"
What does it means and may i know how to solve this problem?
Thanks for helping hand

It's very likely you have a corrupted email queue file that postfix chokes on. It will keep on reporting the queue file over and over until you flush it from the queue. The next steps is to identify which queue file(s) is causing this error then remove them.

Hi, Joe
I am totally linux newbies and i do not know how to "flush" and identify it? could you provide me detail step on how to solve this
Million thanks for your helping hand, Joe.

Hi again,
postqueue -p lists the queue. But you could look straight at the "hold" queue in the spool directory via console/SSH. By default, the directory is located under /var/spool/postfix/hold. I'll be glad to take a look. Feel free to get in touch.
