you must be in the desktop directory

1. create link using "New Laucher" if you have KDE or GNOME

2. open a terminal ...

2.1 cd .gnome-desktop for GNOME
2.2 cd desktop?? for KDE not sure

3. ln -s (program you want to access) (shortcut name)
