I am having a real hard time with suse pro 9.2. I have installed apache2 and mod-php, but php doesn't seem to be working. When I access the php file from the browser, it just let me download the file, but not showing the content. In the past, I also had a real hard time with useless yast gui tools when I tried configure samba server. Then I found out that samba gui tools was messing up with the samba config file. When I got rid of some of useless yast tools, samba started to work fine. Since then, I have been skeptical about suse. I was wondering if this apache-php problem was also due to suse's one of the stupid bugs.

Yes, I too am having exactly the same problem. I have used many distros all with apache and php, but suse 9.2 is the first one I have had such a problem. If anyone can help me solve this one I would approciate it greatly. Please email me if you wish
