suse and XP on separate drives

CPU/Ram: 512mb

i curently have w98 on drive C: which is master HD. also have windows xp on drive D: on the slave HD. i want to put suse on the primary HD but im afraid linux will destroy the windows xp booting files..

help please,

That should be fine. The linux install will
pick up the XP OS and create a relavent
entry in lilo/grub
