Hi, I'm a newbie.
How can I access my windows' partitions

Mount them:

# mount /dev/hda1 /windows98

Of course, you may have to use the "-t" option to tell it what type of filesystem it is, such as a FAT32 or NTFS partition.

Enter this at a command prompt for further info on the mount command:

# man mount

Good luck.

To make this permanent (upon boot), add a line for each "mount" to the /etc/fstab file.
