Where could we get the SUSE 8.1 Iso's? Suse on their ftp site (ftp.suse.com) suggest that the ISO's are available. But where, I could not tell! A pointer would be nice.
Ref file: README.iso-images.english found in / or /pub I believe.

I have been looking around for suSE 8.1 in the ISO format, however in my research I found that you can only get the boot disk in ISO then try to configure your network card or modem in the Linux mode to download the packages. If you are unfamiliar with your computer, this can be a very tedious task and therefore isn't really user friendly. suSE is a popular format and I am sure you may be able to find that some hacker has set the program into ISO format but it won't be officially recognized by suSE. Open source should be open to anyone however suSE wants to sell you their version and they make it very difficult for a novice user to work with. The best suggestion is to boycott the version and download Mandrake until they change.
