Hi all,

Im new to linux, yet i was able to install suse 8.1 and config my network card off my win xp to give me internet access.

problem is that when i plug in my promise ultra 100 card linux does not read any hard drive. I can unplug the card and use the motherboard ide and all is fine.

any ideas?

I installed the ultra100 not plug into the harddrive and suse found it and installed it i guess, it is showing up in my hardware section. but it will not configure in yast2.

So i tried to use it agian and it still will not read harddrive.

Thanks in Advance.
