Suse 7.3 on an Intel system?

How do I install Suse 7.3 on my Intel P3-933? The site http://www.linuxiso.org/suse.html tells me that I can't install on an Intel/AMD chipset computer. I have downloaded all 5 isos for Suse 7.3, and am now wondering what to do since I change my boot up in the bios to hit the CD first and when I have Disk 1 (Suse) in the cd rom drive and reboot, it just ignores the CD. Any ideas?

My guess is that the original CD's are not downlable from SUSE. They would not mind that you by their CD's. After all this is quite fair: they have done quite a lot of a very good job developing their version of Linux. But you still have the possibility to borrow someone else CD's. Suse 7.3 is quite good on Intel... By the way: mine runs just fine on an AMD K6-III and Athlon. Andre G-

You downloaded for the Sparc system, you want the intel/pc iso, try tucows at http://linux-dfw.tucows.webusenet.com/ system/preview/73988.html click on i386 Stable 7.1 it is only a single cd demo though, if you want the full, multiple cd version you will have to buy it. There are also other linux distributions besides Suse.
