Stop booting linux

OK here it is, I have to hard drives One is a SCSI the other is IDE. I installed linux on the SCSI and Left the IDE alone for a wile. I just formated the hard drive ran partition magic to get rid of the partitions left by linux Fdisked the MBR and formatted again and it is still trying to boot linux. HELP!

If all else fails You could go the man hdd site and download the diag software after you write 0zz to the drive she will be a cherry again just like day one :)
I don't know what you want to do but if you want linux on your scsi and another another os on the IDE then you could simply solve the problem by putting lilo on the mbr of hda (your ide) and leave linux where it is. format /mbr is a dos command and doesn't work in standard linux. If you want to wipe the mbr of your IDE, pop in a win9x startup disk and type c: c:\format /mbr You could also do a zero fill by getting Diskmanager or a similar program from the HD manufacture web site. read lilo.conf documentation too
