startx goes black

Hi,
I have suse 10.1 about 1 month and today i
tried when i putted my tv tuner on my
motherboard i opened my computer and after
my suse logged in and tried to open startx
they went black (at that time they opened
the startx desctop).After that i shut it
down i took out the pci tv tuner but the
same problem.Can anyone please help me?
Idont now much about linux :) thaks.

There is almost always a log file put under /var that might tell how far it got and a clue as to why it failed.

I think you can run yast from command like to correct it. I forget a lot. See suse docs of that. I know it is either yast or something like that. It was in the old suse part of how one configged it.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
