When I log in to my pogo-enhanced Linux Mandrake 7.1 system, all I get is a blue background, with the Linux taskbar at the bottom. No icons at all. Nothing shows up when I put in a disk or CD, and I'm a nube so I have no clue what to do. Thanks for the help.

On the left side of the taskbar is there
a big "K" or a foot?

The little Linux version of the start menu. I don't see either.

Try finding among the menus that come up from the "start" menu a xterm or console or eterm
or rxvt.

A dos like command prompt will appear

Type either
gmc
or kfm

If neither of these work repost.
