I've installed and uninstalled Ubuntu 9.04

Now there is a dialogue screen after BIOS/POST that asks if I want to load Ubuntu or Windows (i did the install inside of windows option when i installed Ubuntu)

How do I get rid of that dialogue screen??

It doesn't have to be this difficult

When you installed Ubuntu, the Grub boot manager was installed to let you choose which OS to start. If you have really removed Ubuntu, I am surprised that you get the boot manager, and that you are able to start Windows from it, because all of Grub, other than the first jump command should be located in the Ubuntu file system.

Whatever the case, if you have removed Ubuntu, and can no longer use the Grub utility to remove the boot manager, you can still use your Windows installation disk to fix your systems master boot record so it jumps directly to Windows. The commands are different for Windows XP and Vista, and I have not yet tried to get the job done in 7, but you can follow the information in the following link:
