And if you really have to have StarOffice, then you can get a copy from Sun for $79 or get some Linux distro that comes with StarOffice like Mandrake or others...

I used SO 6 beta, and unless there were major changes before the release, OpenOffice 1.0 is almost exactly the same as SO 6. It should be noted that SO 6/OO 1.0 is MUCH better than SO 5.2, which I have also used.
