StarOffice printing problem

I have RedHat 6.2 and am running StarOffice 5.1. I can print to my 1992 HP DeskJet Portable direct from Linux without problems, but cannot print from StarOffice (StarOffice saves its word files with a .sdw extension). Can anyone help?

I have had my share of 5.1 printing issues. Two things worked for me :---) a. Printing to a file and then print that from command line. b. Upgrade to Staroffice 5.2.
