hi there, i'm facing problem with my sound system in linux(In my Linux, there's no sound).My soundcard is Creative Vibra. Can anyone give any suggestion on this?

Sure thing.

Open up a terminal window, and su to root user

run the following:
# sndconfig
and see if that helps :-)
