I have problems with getiing sound to work under Slackware 8.1. I have Giga-byte 7VRX mainboard with integrated ac97 sound. lspci repaorts it is a: Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233 AC97 Audio Controller (rev 40) But modprobe via82cxxx_audio doesn' t solve this problem. Still no sound.
