Comment:

I've installed Redhat 8.0 and it works fine, save for there is no sound at all. I'm using a Creative Ensoniq Floyd LC PCI sound card on a Pavillion 7970. Any ideas on where I could find a driver or what it could be? I tried to go in and update the driver but I guess Redhat doesn't have that feature and I could only see what it was using, not edit it. I am new to linux.

You could try the Alsa drivers. Not sure if they will work for your sound card but theres no harm in trying

They work fine for my ST Audio PCI card.
Good luck
