Hi, can someone answer the following questions? im using slackware linux v. 7.1

1)How do I set up my Crystal CX4235-XQ3 Sound Card?

2)I compile and install the kernel modules of my lucent winmodem, I pppsetup to add the device the
modem instalation created (ttyLT0), I set up the ppp connection and indicate that the modem is ttyLT0,
when I run ppp-go I get the following message

Failed to open /dev/ttyLT0: no such device

3)When I use the root account I dont have to be in the /usr/sbin, /usr/bin etcetera to execute commands that are in those
directories, when I'm using some other account I get a command not found if I try to do the same thing, how can I make my
user account do this? this is bad because when I try to run the ifconfig command as a regular user in the / directory I
get a command not found, even if I use the sudo command I get the same problem.

Please help
