You can browse the CD by using Konquerer. If you want to install an RPM package, you can right click this RPM package and choose install with yast. You will be asked for root password.

I have been trying all i can but failed. After putting in my password, i don't get a response. I wanted to install oracle 10g, could it fail because it is a .exe not RPM? Is it possible to make it RPM? Thanx Paul

Yes, that's the problem. You can't install EXE files except you install it in a Windows emulation like WINE. But I would suggest to install Oracle for Linux systems (RPMs).
