Hey all I've just setup Smoothwall and am having heaps of trouble.
Here's my setupI've got a billion ADSL Modem/Router IP address 192.168.1.254
Network card 1 (RED) in my Smoothwall box is connected to the ADSL Modem/router with an IP of 192.168.1.10
I set the Smoothwall default gateway to the IP of the Modem/router.Network card 2 (GREEN) is connected to my network hub with an IP of 192.168.2.254
I have a DHCP Scope setup to dish out IP's to PC's on the network. All is fine, Networked computers obtain IP address with default gateway of 192.168.2.254 etc
The computers on the network can't see the Internet.
The Linux box can ping the IP of the ADSL Modem/router but can't ping the IP of a computer on the network.
When attempting to Ping www.smoothwall.org I get a DNS error.
I setup the Web Proxy server, Clients receive a Squid DNS error message..
Obviously I've missed something, has anyone else had this problem or know what I've done wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanx heaps
James

I think the IP;s you have defined are incorrect. If this were a Cisco, 3com, your routing table would have been able to handle it.
your in coming is 192.168.1.10
Your scope is defined as 192.168.2.Xhow does the .2.x network talk to the .1.x network?
If you redefine the scope to 192.168.1.100 - 110 this should work...
OR create a static IP address is .1.X and make sure to include your DNS.
Make the router .1.254..also
