Yes ,Is there a Linux version that I can use without having to split my hard drive. I have a 4.3 hard drive with win 95 on it right now.
also I want one with a theme or GNU or something. I am new to linux...

there are some linux versions that run off a cd ...might try one of them first to see how you like it...

Yeah, i also think a "instant Linux" is a good choice for you!

probably the best choice for you is a Knoppix Linux, wich is available at:
http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/

As well as Knoppix, Gentoo (which comes with demo of Unreal Tourny 2003) and the SuSE live evaluation CD also boot straight into a linux desktop with no installation needed.

If you can spare the disk space (~500Mb) you could give Phat Linux a go which installs itself from within windows onto a FAT drive. I haven't tried it recently but it's an intermediate stage between run-from-CD distros and full blown installations.
