Hi, I'm new to linux and have just installed Slackware 8.0. I can login ok and someone told me to type "startx" to get a x window system working except this error came up:

Fatal Server Error:
No Screens Found

Please help I don't know how to use that text interface at all!!

type in xf86config as root and fill out your info and there you go good to go. It dosen't come preconfigured with the install but this will do it for you

also make sure you have a window manager installed
