I'm trying to install Slackware v7.1 on my IBM Thinkpad. I have a PCMCIA CD-ROM that I am trying to use. I put the boot disk in and everything works great, the root disk loads, and the pcmcia sup disk loads just fine too. I can see my CD-ROM lights go on and I can hear the cd spinning. I then continue and format my Hard drive. When it comes time to install the packages, setup cannot find my CD-ROM drive (lights are still on) I tried to locate my cdrom by selecting "install from pre-mounted directory" but I cannot find the contents of the cdrom. I've tried just about everything. Can anyone help me out? Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
