Hey, I just bought Slackware 8.0 from tuxcds.com. I'm trying to install on a PI 100MHz 16Mb laptop. However, when I try to run the install from the first CD, it gives a message saying:

isolinux: Disk Error 85
Boot Failed

I tried again on my PII 333MHz desktop and it worked fine, but on my laptop I can't even get to where I can enter options or anything. Any help would b great, thanks.

Can your laptop boot from a CD-ROM??? If
not, you can always create a bootable disk
which you can get from your CD-ROM...
