Hello there, I have a relativly simple question to ask. I was wondering if someone can give me the exact command I would need to do these two things.

1. Mount a floppy disk drive
2. Run a RPM file that is called
NVIDIA_kernel-0.9-6.rh70-up.i386.rpm
off of that disk drive.

Please give the exact command, as I am not expierenced in linux cammands yet!
Thanks in advance!

-James

10 mount /mnt/floppy (in mandrake anyways)
to install the rpm log in as root and
"rpm -i NVIDIA_kernel-0.9-6.rh70-up.i386.rpm"
without the quotes.
oh ya make sure as a normal user you have
"permission to mount the floppy" some distros
don't set that up after install

Or if that doesn't work, try:
mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
It could be that you have to create /mnt/floppy first.
You can add the option -t vfat.
The floppy drive is now accessable under /mnt/floppy.
