setting up network in redhat 7

I go to college and have it's ethernet system working in Windows ME. But when i try to put them in, in Red Hat 7 using gnome, all the settings are described differently and i dont know what numbers to put where. is there a site that clarifies all this? Thanks, Nick
once you network card is setup properly and the settings are correct. Try pinging a computer on the network or a website if you have an internet connection. Email me if you have any quesitons.
