I have wine installed but I have no idea how to set it up or run a program with it if somebody could give me some pointers or tell me where to look it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. P.S. I do not have an internet connection for this machine.

bushjohn15, I am not a wine user, so when I saw your inquiry last evening (eastern time zone - USA here) I did not post a reply as I had nothing useful for you. Now I see the above post which contains a most useful link as a starting point for you to learn how to set up your wine installation. The reason for my reply now is the manner in which the above reply was delivered. When I was new to Linux, many knowledgeable users took the time to help me learn the parts of my new OS with which I was having trouble. Far too many of them used the method above and it angered me to no end. They not only provided little more than a link, but they did so with a rude statement that I should Read The F***ing Manual (and they yelled it at me -Caps indicate a loud or angry tone)! Such an attitude directed to new Linux users provided the basis for the Linux communities 'elitist' reputation (true or not).
