I have damnsmall linux installed to hd and have added several extensions and configured fluxbox to look nice. I really like what I have so far with one exception. I can not get a printer to work. I have canon bjc-1000 and bjc-2000 both work well under win95/98 I did not find either listed under aspfilters, but did try several bjc drivers with no success. I installed cups.dsl, started and opened browser and localhost:631. this gave the list of choice but clicking any opens a box asking for username and password for cups. I entered everything I could think of. I finally gave up as little time is available. can anyone offer a printer that will work or how to access cups to try? Any help to get a printer to work would be very much appreciated Thanks for an opportunity to post
