I did plug a linksys pcmcia ethernet card to my laptop, did boot linux Mandrake 7.0 -> Linux mentionned at boot time that it did detect that card (with no mention of irq, nor I/O). what's next in order to complete the setup? ->I tried finding the modules of that card and could not find them. ->In /proc/pci, I can see that IRQ11 is taken by a device.. but am not sure that it's the one taken by the NIC card ->I know I need to ifconfig that card. But there are so much details missing before thinking about setting it straight up with ifconfig (what modules? what IRQ and I/O goes with it? .etc)
