First off, thanks to the people who post in this forum. I haven't posted many of my questions directly, but have gotten a HUGE amount of help from searching through past posts. I've been able to successfully install several apps, (Opera, OpenOffice, etc.) setup my modem, connect to the Internet, and more. This is my second attempt at trying Linux, (the first was a disaster) and I am having a great time with it. (It sure makes Windows look slow!) I can't believe how many free apps there are that are just as good or better than the apps I used in Windows! (Some of which had to be paid for) Okay, enough rambling... Here's my question: Keeping in mind that I'm still a Linux novice, how would I go about setting up printers in Red Hat 7.0? The most important one is my Canon S520 connected on USB. (It could be switched to parallel if needed) I assume I need to download drivers, but I don't know where to get them from, or how to install them. I would also like to setup my old Citizen GSX-140 24-pin printer, connected on parallel, but that doesn't really matter compared to the Canon. (If I put the Canon on parallel, I'd have to disconnect the 24-pin anyway) Also, I don't know if this makes a difference, but I'm using GNOME as my desktop.
