I'm looking for something that does the same thing that Remote access service does for NT. So i can have windows clients dial into a linux box an have access to a cable modem that hangs of the linux box.

You'll have to configure mgetty to answer the a modem line and kick off the mgetty ppp script. Provided ppp is properly configured you'll get an ip assigned to each ends ppp
interface. I don't know of any automagic software to set it all up for you. You just have to read the mgetty and ppp howto's and configure things yourself.
