Hi linuxites,
I am totally in favour of Linux and free software as such..
I just got the MDK9 isos downloaded ( 3 cds ) and have started trying to use it.
I have made a 100% Full installation (5GB and over of installed space on HDD on a 20GB HDD)
I face a strange prob that i havent faced before in any Redhat / Mandrake Linux before yet. I have been using linux for 3 yrs and iam totally comfortable whit it.
Problem:
When i try to start the sendmail server, it fails to start by spewing this message when in verbose mode:
Starting sendmail: [ OK ]
Starting sm-client: sendmail: invalid option -- A
sendmail: fatal: usage: sendmail [options]
[FAILED]Now, as i have done some RnD on this point, i went into the file /etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail and found this line:
"--->
daemon --check sm-client /usr/sbin/sendmail -L sm-msp-queue -Ac \
$([ -n "$QUEUE" ] && echo -q$QUEUE)
--->"can anyone please tell me as soon as possible as to why it happens and any other ways of solving this issue (i dont mind trying even qmail if guided properly)
Thanks a lot in advance to anyone who does try to put some efforts on this problem and help me out!
Long Live LINUX (The Best Of The Best Of The Best OS)

I get the same on a customers machine and
it needs to work tommorow. I have spent
today looking at this and have no result.
Did you get anything.
