Comment:

I installed new release of Redhat linux (8.0) but it doesn't recognize my Adaptect AHA-3940 AUW SCSI card and it says "Kernel Panic!!!".
What should I do?
Why the RedHat 7.2 supports my SCSI Card and the new version no? Isn't it strange?
Thanks;
Diego

Reply:

when you installed, did RH tell you it
did/did-not recognize the SCSI card?

Do you have both IDE and SCSI?
On what drive did you install Linux?

It might not be a SCSI problem.
