I have RedHat 7.3 installed on a Dell laptop. The problem is that my screen resolution is 'stucked' on 1280X1024. I ran Xconfigurator and made sure I have also other resolutions. I edited the /etc/X11/xf86config file and commented out the 1280X1024 modes, but when I restart it is always go back to 1280X1024 I am almost blind by now. please help me before it is too late.
