Hi All, I need to take scheduled backup of a folder from a system(Win-XP/NTFS) to Linux(RHEL5) on daily and weekly basis. I had done this from linux to linux (RHEL4) with rsync + cron but at that time both OS were RHEL-4, now the situation is different. I need to take backup from WinXP to RHEL5. Can any body suggest me, which way i should go for? rsync? or something else? I will really appreciate if someone can recommend a good article/blog/tutorial for this scheduled back from Win-XP to Linux(RHEL5). Waiting for a prompt reply. Have a good day. Sam

Thanks dear, I have done it by using ftp-server (filezilla) and lftp from linux. lftp gives the mirror command that is quite good. have a good day.
